Charm bangle bracelets are a great way to show team spirit! With a variety of TierraCast charms and Swarovski crystals, you can personalize them with lots of different colors and themes. I like to make ones that celebrate my favorite sports teams. You can use TierraCast charms with Swarovski crystals already set in them, or glue Swarovski crystals into blank bezel charms. Both are beautiful! See how ridiculously easy these bracelets are to make below! Supplies needed to make the Silver-Tone No. 12 charm bangles:
- 1 or more White Plated Adjustable Bangle Bracelet Blanks
- 1 or more TierraCast Number Charms (I used the Antique Silver 12 Charm)
- Jump Rings that match the color of your bangles (I used 6mm Silver Plated Jump Rings)
- 2 or more TierraCast Charms with Swarovski Crystals (I used a Rhodium Plate Charm with Peridot Crystal and Rhodium Plate Charm with Sapphire Crystal
Once you’ve got your supplies, follow these steps:
This is so easy! First, unhinge the bracelet.
Place 1 crystal charm onto the bracelet, making sure the crystal is facing outward.
Then, add the other crystal charm.
To add the 12 charm to the center …
Twist open a jump ring and add the 12 charm.
Close the jump ring around your bracelet, between your other two charms. Completed bracelet!
Supplies needed to make the Gold-Tone bangle charm bracelets:
- 1 or more Antique Brass Plated Adjustable Bangle Bracelet Blanks
- 1 or more Charms that match your favorite team mascots (I used a TierraCast Antique Gold Feather Charm)
- Jump Rings that match the color of your bangles (I used 6mm Antique Brass Plated Jump Rings)
- 2 or more TierraCast Beaded Antique Brass Bezel Charms
- 2 each or more 34ss Swarovski Xirius Rose Flat-Back Crystals (I used 1 Peridot Crystal and 1 Sapphire Crystal)
- Two-Part Epoxy Glue (I used Epoxy 220)
Now, follow these easy steps:
For this bracelet, you are essentially doing the same thing, except you will set the crystals yourself.
On a piece of scrap paper place equal parts of the two part epoxy.
Using a spare head pin or toothpick, mix the two parts until they are well blended.
Place a small dab of the mixed epoxy into the bezel settings.
Gently place the crystals into the bezels, and press down lightly to ensure the adhesive is secure.
Now you have your custom Swarovski charms! Let these dry overnight on a flat surface before hanging them.
After they have dried overnight, place your crystal charms on the bracelet form just like you did with the silver bangle (above).
Place the feather charm in the center of the two crystals with an antique brass jump ring.
