Happy New Year! It’s Wednesday afternoon, and I’m adding your votes, live-blogging style! (My vote is “wood chain“. My R&T coworkers vote for “picture frame pendants“, “chain on spools“, “resin“…)
I bet this’ll turn out to be a nice shopping list for anyone who wants to make great jewelry. (Or to buy that person a birthday gift…) 🙂
- @SatinDollCo) 1st vote: Peace sign charms (
- 2nd vote: PEWTER FLEUR-DE-LIS CHARMS (@rhapsodiejandg)
- 3rd vote: Gunmetal chain . . . but perhaps that’s wishful thinking on my part. I love it! (@CrazyCraftChick)
- 4th vote: Filigrees (Andrea Twombly) (in her comment below)
- 5th vote: I vote for Swarovski Crystals… ALWAYS! (@AlsoMrsB)
- 6th vote: Gunmetal Oval Chain – like you expected me to say something else? – Suzann@Beadphoria.com (Suzann Sladcik Wilson) (via Facebook — we’re getting responses all over!)
- 7th vote: Headpins with interesting finials! (Diana B) (in a comment below)
- 8th vote: My vote – gemstone faceted rondelles – like this lapis, YUM!!!! http://tinyurl.com/ybl49ee (JustATish)
Tweet or FB your vote to me and I’ll add them in real time ☺ Dave

Filigrees
Headpins with interesting finials!
Thanks Andrea, Diana, and everyone else — this was such a fun experiment. Look forward to more live-blogging with R&T in the new 2010.
PS, as I asked on Twitter this morning, how the heck do you say “2010”? Is it “20-10”, or “2000-10”, or even (I’ve heard) “2-10”? Tell me what the rest of our crafts community is saying!
I say “two thousand and ten” but I just write /10.
And I “second” the votes for both peace signs and gunmetal chain! (Even though that combo doesn’t quite sound right together…..)
On a related note, I’ve heard two good suggestions for what to call the previous decade: the Naughties or the Oh-Oh’s 🙂
