Here is a project that can add a personal touch to your special day, whether it be a wedding or an anniversary. Turning vintage coins into cuff links with a little Swarovski sparkle is an easy afternoon project–even if you are making a pair for each groomsman. And best of all, the supplies and tool list is short and sweet–and available at Rings & Things.

Gather together your supplies: India Pices coins, Swarovski flat-back crystals, cuff link findings, and two-part epoxy.
You will need these supplies:
- 2 each vintage coins (I used item #44-054)
- 2 each cuff link blanks (I used item #30-292-7)
- 2 each of 34ss or 40ss flat-back crystals
- 2-part epoxy (I used item #60-230)

Sand the high points of the design on the India Pices coin with an 3M ultra-fine sanding sponge. This will make the the coin details “pop”. Use a cloth to make sure all parts are clean and dust free.
You will need these tools:
- rubber bench block – item #69-118
- 3M 800-1000 grit sanding sponge – item #69-257-0004
And these supplies:
- toothpick
- styrofoam
- disposable work surface for mixing adhesive

Carefully place the India Pices coin on the cuff-link pad. Repeat steps to glue the second cuff link. Set aside and allow adhesive to cure for manufacturer’s recommended time frame.
♥ Make things!
