Silver Plated
- 1 each silver-plated magnetic clasp (I used item #39-306-3)
- 1 each silver-plated spring ring clasp (I used item #39-326-3)
- 2 each silver-plated jump rings (I used item #37-133-3)
- 1 each silver-plated jump ring (I used item #37-136-3)
Antiqued-Brass Plated
- 1 each antiqued-brass-plated magnetic clasp (I used item #39-410-6)
- 1 each antiqued-brass-plated spring ring clasp (I used item #39-326-6)
- 2 each antiqued-brass-plated jump rings (I used item #37-133-6)
- 1 each antiqued-brass-plated jump ring (I used item #37-136-6)
Gold Plated
- 1 each gold-plated magnetic clasp (I used item #39-418-4)
- 1 each gold-plated lobster clasp (I used item #39-340-4)
- 2 each gold-plated jump rings (I used item #37-133-2)
- 1 each gold-plated jump ring (I used item #37-136-2)
You will need the following tools:

Lay out the components of the magnetic clasp converter; one side of the converter has a jump ring that attaches to the necklace’s clasp, and the other side has a spring-ring clasp that attach to the necklace’s end ring or tab.
Make the clasp portion of the converter: use the small jump ring to connect one half of the magnetic clasp to the spring-ring clasp.
Make the jump ring portion of the converter: use the small jump ring to connect the other half of the magnetic clasp to the large jump ring.

Jump Ring Basics
When you open and close jump rings, twist ends instead of “ovaling” them.
This keeps their round shape better, which makes them easier to close neatly and securely.

How to attach the magnetic clasp converter:
- Attach the converter clasp to the end tab or end jump ring of a necklace chain.
- Attach the necklace clasp to the end jump ring of the converter.
- Connect the magnetic clasp.
