Follow these step-by-step instructions to make your “Cutie Cutes” bookmark:

Arrange your pieces in order of assembly: Uni Unicorn pendant, 2″ standard head pin, 4mm plated bead, 5mm rhinestone wheel bead, 4mm plated bead, and beadable bookmark.

Twist open the eye-pin loop, attach it to the top loop of the Cutie Cutes charm, and then twist the loop closed.

String the beads onto the eye pin in this order: round silver-plated bead, rhinestone wheel bead, and round silver-plated bead.

Follow the directions that come with the 1-Step Looper to form a loop on the eye pin just beyond the beads. Slide the head pin into the pliers, and insert the excess wire through the hole in the pliers upper jaw.

Gently squeeze the pliers to instantly trim and shape the wire loop.

Twist open the newly formed eye pin loop and attach it to the hole in the book mark.

Twist the loop securely closed.

I love copper…what can I useto keep the copper shiny…rather than letting it become dull?

      Hi Margie,
There are a variety of sealants you can use. Paint-on styles are inexpensive and shippable, so are a good choice if you only need to seal a few items. A good brush will help you prevent visible brush strokes (and leaving stray brush hairs in the sealant). Careful application of spray lacquers generally give the best results (just follow the directions on the spray can). Nikolas Clear Spray Lacquer highly recommended by many top jewelers, but it is rather pricy and requires UPS Ground shipping, which can also get expensive. Personally, I like Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish for both cleaning and sealing, but it’s tricky, and you need to re-apply it periodically, so it’s best for jewelry-makers who like to encourage their customers to come visit them annually for a refresher coating & checkup.
Here are the sealants that we carry – if you click into the product details, there is more info about each one: https://www.rings-things.com/Products/Sealants-and-Glazes/
