If you live in the Northeast USA and can attend one of our late September bead shows, you could be a winner!
We’re scouting for our first-ever Guest Bead Helper! You could be an honorary BeadTour bead-show worker, with all the fame and glory that come with that honor.
For our first foray into roadie recruiting, we’re looking for someone who can say “Yes” to all of these questions:
- Can you leave a comment below, to enter?
- Can you attend one of these bead shows?
- Rochester on Sept. 24
- Boston on Sept. 26
- New Haven on Sept. 27
- East Hanover NJ on Sept. 29
- Philadelphia on Sept. 30
- Can you “set tables” with trays of beads?
- Will you let us buy you lunch and give you a goodie tote?
Other perks of the “job” include meeting our friendly crew and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how bead shows are put together — not to mention getting to start bead shopping before we open the doors to the public!
PS: It’s a bonus if you’re an active Facebook-er, Twitter-er or blogger. We’d love it if you talked online about your roadie experience!
We’ll announce our winner on Wednesday, September 16th. Good luck to everyone who enters the drawing!
So enter by leaving a note below…mention which city you’d like to help us in!

Will you be looking for roadies for future shows? I’d love to help out when you come to Vegas in October!
I just lost my mind!!! I want to be there so bad!
I have been to the Milwaukee show and it is really quite amazing. What a great idea! I think it would be fun to be behind the scenes. I just told Lorelei on her blog that Rings and Things was one of my favorite places to buy supplies, especially since your bead tours come close to almost anywhere (I consider 3 hours close becuase where I live we are 2-3 hours from anywhere!). I would definitely be open to a future date in Wisconsin. And if you have a chance to go, I highly recommend it!
Enjoy the day!
Erin
Thanks Joia and Tish, for your enthusiasm — we can always count on you!
Erin, we’d be very happy to see you next time we’re in Wisconsin.
As you can see, this is a trial run for now. We’d enjoy signing up enthusiastic helpers in every town we visit…let’s see what the response is to this contest!
Thought I could make the Philly show, but I’m signed up for a seminar that day. Drat! I even have experience.
I hope you’ll do this again for your Washington DC area shows.
Hi Carole, bummer that you can’t make it up to Philly…keep your ears open for possible DC action!
Is there any chance you’ll extend it into October? I would love to help with the Pittsburgh show!
So…close…to Philadephia… We’ll see where all of this goes. It’s great to see such enthusiasm out there!
If you are ever in Ohio I would love to help with the show!
Seriously considering it, Mary. I wonder what the boss will say upon seeing all this enthusiasm from all over the country! 🙂
BOSTON!!!! Let me know and I will be there to help!!! I can’t wait….
Hi Leslie, your name is in for the drawing…good luck!
sure I’ll help. New Haven Sept 27. What time do I arrive? I’ll be driving in from NY and Sat nite is a late night with my 4 sista’s celebrating one’s 40th…lol Will I need to set the alarm?!
– And the winner is : MARGOT! See you at 11AM on the 27th?! Congratulations!
Thanks, Margot, I’ve put your name into the hat…I’ll give the details to whoever gets picked as the winner. (PS, have a nice time at the birthday party!)
Sigh…I don’t suppose there’s a prayer you might have a bead show in Southern California, is there? I’d volunteer in a heartbeat!
A prayer? Maybe…this whole program is new, we’ll see where it goes!
As Dave said, I’m not sure about the guest helper position, but we will be doing shows in California in early November. SanDiego is Tuesday, the 3rd.
Here is a link to our whole list of shows:

(at least I hope it shows up as a link).
Double-sigh…You’re coming to California just when I’m away on vacation. Rats…
Diana, where are you vacationing? Anywhere near our other shows? 🙂
Ooooo… this sounds like so much fun. And dangerous, too. Just my kind of thing. Sadly, I’m too far. But if you ever need a Cleveland helper…
Maybe we should keep you in mind, Lori…
I would love to be in the running for the NJ Show on Sept 29th.
Anita
– Thanks Anita, your name is in the hat…
Sounds fun, but I’m also out in California. I’d love to help at the San Mateo or the Sacramento show!
Who’s the help for Rachacha??? (grin)
