Tip: Organize beads by color (and hour!)

December 23, 2009

Once in a while we share tips on recycling…

Turn an old pill box into a bead organizer!

If it's Tuesday, I must be using purple beads!

Bedtime — time for purple peyote!

This works best for seed beads, since the compartments are small. You can organize your beads by color, while stashing them securely to avoid pesky bead spills.

And if you’re seriously compulsive, you get a built-in reminder of which color to use at which time of day.

Hilarious! I wonder what color is 4:12pm on a Wednesday before Christmas?!
I have been using a lot of the handmade bowls, sake cups and the like on my table for little bead soups… one of these days I need to challenge myself to use them! Hey…that sounds like an “inspired by…” challenge!
Enjoy the day, and wishing you a wealth of inspiration in the New Year!

I use the little bottles that come filled with cake decor, sprinkles, colored sugar, etc. for bead storage. Some of them are even divided. Great for seed b eads and small findings!
