Open Hearted Lariat Necklace

September 28, 2015

Since October is Breast Cancer awareness month, I wanted to make a pink ribbon necklace that would do many things at once. I wanted it to look stylish, spread awareness, and encourage hope and solidarity. I came up with this simple but elegant Open Heart Lariat Necklace that literally takes seconds to put together and requires no tools! Read on to make your own.

You can make this with only 3 items and your hands!

Supplies Needed:

Take the side with the spring ring and clip it onto one side of your heart link.

Open your necklace and attach the spring ring clasp to one side of your heart link.

On the other end of your chain, clip your pink ribbon onto the jump ring.

Slip your ribbon through your heart and your necklace is complete!

If you dont like the idea of just slipping the ribbon through the heart you can just clip the ribbon to your heart so there is no chance of loosing your necklace!

If you want to use this lariat design for a different theme, you can replace the pink ribbon charm with a different charm! The great thing about the Swarovski pink ribbon charm is that it comes with a lobster clasp already attached. To use different charms, simply add a jump ring and a lobster clasp to a charm of your choice.

Always
